Hey Folks,
I enjoyed the pre-inauguration and the inauguration. I will enjoy watching the parade and what they show of the post-inauguration events. I wish I could be there.
I watched as President Trump escorted his predessor to the helicopter, and then as he signed his first official documents and entered the inaugural luncheon.
At the moment there are protestors smashing windows etc. and throwing rocks, bricks and bottles in attempts to block or shut down the parade route. Too bad, that. Not something sensible people do, but beyond that I won’t comment.
Anyway, a non-writing day here. I wrote a little early, but I’ll append that to tomorrow’s totals.
I also changed the post time (at MailChimp) to 7 p.m. in case I forget again. (grin)

Today, and Writing
Rolled out a little after 3 this morning. Eventually made my way to the Hovel around 7. I wrote for a little while, then remembered today is Inauguration Day.
At that point I decided today will be a nonwriting day. Books, stories, are not important. They’re fun. The inauguration is important. I’ll be vegging in front of the TV to watch the grandeur of the peaceful transfer of power, and doing my best to ignore the morons.
